IVF (In Vitro Fertilization)
IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) is a highly effective assisted reproductive technology where an egg and sperm are combined outside the body in a lab. The resulting embryo is then transferred into the woman’s uterus to achieve pregnancy. IVF has helped millions of couples overcome infertility and start their families.

What to Expect During the IVF Journey
1. Ovarian Stimulation
Hormonal injections are given for 8–12 days to stimulate the ovaries to produce multiple mature eggs.
2. Egg Retrieval
Once follicles are ready, a minor procedure is done under sedation to retrieve the eggs from the ovaries.
3. Fertilization in the Lab
Retrieved eggs are fertilized with sperm in a controlled environment. In some cases, ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) is used.
4. Embryo Culture
Fertilized embryos are monitored for 3–5 days for quality development before selection.
5. Embryo Transfer
A healthy embryo is transferred into the uterus using a thin catheter. This is a painless outpatient procedure.
6. Pregnancy Test
A blood test is performed 10–14 days after transfer to confirm pregnancy.
